Taketa station hostel cue is located in front of Bungo-Taketa station only few minutes' walk. This hostel renovated old house more than 90 years with our friends. We hope that you can experience the four seasons, local food and culture here in Taketa. As well as, the local people are charm and wisdom. The hostel is so clean and warm, and we had all the things we need. The host Sakura san and Taka san are super friendly and helpful, and they offered us a lot of help. The location is quite but easy to reach, which is very close to JR station.
숙소 위치는 역에서 아주 가깝고 찾기 쉬웠으며 숙소 자체도 아주 예쁘고 훌륭했습니다. 그 중 가장 좋았던 것은 훌륭한 호스팅이었습니다. 친절한 호스트 타카상과 사쿠라상의 도움 덕분에 아주 즐거운 여행을 했습니다. 다음에 다시 오이타 여행을 한다면 이곳에서 묵고 싶습니다.
Cue is an amazing place to stay. I ended up being the only person there, Rika was so nice that she closed down the whole place just to show me around Taketa. I wish I had more than one night at Cue! I will definitely return.
I don’t have enough words to express how lovely our stay was with Taka and Sakura. They are extraordinary hosts and the embodiment of joie de vivre. The hostel is a tastefully remodeled store and the cafe has delicious food and beverages. We especially enjoyed our morning coffee and conversation, and the suggestion to visit Lamune Onsen. I highly recommend staying at Hostel Cue if you plan to explore the Taketa area.

Our hostel is located from JR railway "Bungo-Taketa station" only few minutes' walking. There are car parking near the station 300yen for 1night.
