The Hardy Lakehouse Lilypad is a private, delightful two-story home on Kiwanie Lake just blocks from the Southfork of the Spring River. The home sits on an acre of land with a seasonal creek and private dock for your enjoyment. Fenced and pet friendly, it is a great retreat for small or larger groups (9 max). Use our boats for fishing at the lake or enjoy local shuttle rentals on the Spring River. Fill your days with the beauty of the outdoors and come home to play pool or enjoy a campfire. - Large porches - The acre yard is fenced on 3 sides, the 4th side being the lake. There is also a small fenced area by the house within the larger fenced yard. Great for your pet (one pet limit.) - 2 tables upstairs for dining - The lake has bream, bass, crappie and catfish in it! Although not recommended for swimming because of the muddy bottom, the lake is great for fishing. - Pool table, air hockey table, corn hole game - Drum set in game room - Pedal boat, canoe & aluminum row boat - Washer/dryer, please bring your own detergent

Had a great time as usual! We’ve stayed here several times and we will be back again!
From the 1st communication, Jay & Lynn were helpful, responsive hosts. Meeting them (briefly) in-person confirmed they care about their properties & their guests! They agreed (in advance) to allow our group of 10 from TN, AL, & TX to meet-up @ the Lilypad during the daytime. [My sister & most of her family were staying in the house next door while our mom, one of my nieces, my two daughters, my husband, our dog, & I stayed @ the Lilypad... ranging in age from 82 to 21.] From the moment our dog ran thru the spacious yard, she was hooked! The humans liked: lots of different indoor activities (puzzles, pool table, drums, etc.); spaciousness of kitchen (incl. lots of countertop space); lake view (incl. geese, otter, squirrels, & birds); nice & cozy; fun coasters!; having 2 levels was good for privacy; half bath upstairs was a plus!; SNOW softly falling the morning we left! Would love to return when warmer! Things to note: Road in is a bit rough. There are ticks even in late December.
The Lily Pad was a great place to stay! The house was very clean and way bigger than expected. The backyard was great for our dog, the fence was secure and very spacious. The lake was absolutely beautiful- perfect for a morning coffee. Our kids really enjoyed the TV, pool table, and drum set downstairs- it was like their little oasis! The kitchen was equipped with all the necessary items and was very large. We will be staying again!
The Lily Pad is a very comfortable home with so much to do. This was our second stay.
Beautiful house and very nice kitchen and bathrooms. Grill and fire pit area was nice also. Great place spend some time with my kids.

The Lakehouse Lily Pad is located on Kiwanie Lake at what was once a Girl Scout camp. Kamp Kiwani (no "e" in the original spelling) began in 1920 when 80 acres in the foothills of the Ozarks near Hardy, Arkansas became the first Kamp Kiwani and served until it was sold in 1960. It was one of the first Girl Scout camps built along with the formation of Camp Miramichee and Camp Kia Kima. Camp Kiwani moved to Hardeman County near Middleton, Tennessee but the spirit of camping, canoeing and the love of nature remains. The neighborhood now consists of the private lake, cabins and homes conveniently located between Hardy and Cherokee Village (2 miles to each).

The Lilypad has a carport with covered parking for 2 vehicles. You can fit one more vehicle in the driveway. If you have more than 3 vehicles, the rest would need to park on the road by the house. The Lilypad is conveniently located between Hardy and Cherokee Village, 2 miles to each. And, there is a Walmart just 10 minutes away in Ash Flat. There are several river float outfitters in the area, the closest being in Hardy.

I grew up going to summer camp in Hardy, Ark. I learned to swim and canoe in the river and made life-long friendships there. I have pursued the mountains, deserts, and all types of water over the years. Yet, as an adult, this area called me back. Now I have the chance to share it all and nothing makes me happier. Reconnect with nature and the personal touches of this small town.
