RiverLife Cabin is located one block off of Main Street Hardy, an old rail town & sits directly on the beautiful Spring River. Whether you're wanting to float, kayak, raft or fish, we've got you covered! Guests have free access to kayaks, inflatables, life jackets, fishing gear and more! The Spring River is fed by Mammoth Spring. Millions of gallons of crystal clear water are fed into the river every hour keeping the water cool and the levels higher than most during the summer months making it a great location for year round fishing, canoeing, kayaking and floating.
Loberg Park located just north of the Spring River on Loberg Drive. Within easy walking distance from downtown Hardy, the gorgeous
15.5-acre park features a lighted and paved
5/8-mile walking and biking trail, restrooms, basketball court, two pavilions, soccer field and children's playground. The park is the location for many of Hardy's events and festivals.
Buford Beach is a public access recreational park with access to the Spring River just off Riverview Road. With easy access to the river for fishing, swimming, kayaking, and a boat ramp, Buford Beach also has a small playground, picnic tables & restrooms.
Hardy's central downtown area is on the National Register of Historic Places. New growth and attractions have located at the edges of town, leaving a lovely strip for craft and antique shopping in the heart of town. RiverLife cabin provides a large area for parking if you and your guests have multiple vehicles.
If you're wanting to venture to Old Town Hardy it is easily walkable. The corner booth restaurant is 0.3 mi from the cabins entrance with many with five star reviews, the Corner Booth (open until 2:00pm) is known for unbeatable prices and comfort food. Several antique stores, restaurants, museums, artisans and custom crafters are also easily walkable from the cabin at roughly the same distance.
Hardy is a beautiful, historic town, unique, loaded with activities, festivals and shops settled along the Spring River.
