I am a friendly warm person from Greece but have moved to England for years with my son who is now 33 years old and are British permanent residents. I and my son travel a lot mainly to Greece and Spain and we are very worldly as we have travelled up to Australia. I enjoy watching movies at home and cooking but most of the weekday I am working and come at home around 18:30. My son normally works at night in a hotel and enjoys being helpful and giving advice about the area and loves social gaming and chat and makes sure we have a strong wifi. Please note like most British homes, the bedrooms are on the first floor and guests will need to go up a flight of stairs (pictured) which is slightly steep and not suitable for children or people who have difficulty in climbing stairs. As shown in the pictures the bedding is with satin sheets however we can replace it with cotton material upon request in advance. Also, there is a strict British NON-SMOKING policy inside the house and the guests DO NOT have access to the downstairs which is the host's living space so rooms have a small refrigerator and microwave and kettle to prepare their tea or coffeee and warm their food. Please note also that the front door key can be picked up from the key minder box situated at the bottom corner of the front fence (enter the front gate for access) and the combination code is given one day before arrival. Most front doors in Manchester are easy to open but due to the triple bolts the procedure to lock is that guests need to first close the door and THEN lift the handle up high until they hear the bolts connect and then the guest can turn the key easily to lock it which makes the door safe and secure. On the day of departure, once the door is locked the guest can slip the keys through the hole of the front door for the mail. Both bedroom doors have a sticker with WiFi details and password. Finally, we have recently refurbished the large bathroom and now have 2 new toilets with new vanity units and showers that can be locked from the inside. Penny
