Die Wohnung ist schön groß, vom Balkon kann man das Meer sehen. Küche und Badezimmer sehr gut erhalten. Parkplatz ist direkt hinter dem Haus. Cafés und Restaurants fussläufig. Die Wohnung ist allerdings auch feucht. Teilweise durchs Dach, aber auch durch die Nähe zum Meer. Wände, teilweise Boden aber auch Decken sind feucht und es riecht oft muffig.

The house is really nice, has everything you need: 2 bathrooms (or with double shower and wc), all you need for cooking in the kitchen, a lovely terase with ocean view where you can have coffee and breakfast in the morning! We had some problems during our stay (for 1month) and Pat was responding in the same day and solved the issue in the same day or by next day the latest. Overall we were very happy with our choise, especially because the location is in between of all attractions/hikes. Because you will live on an island in the middle if the ocean expect to have humidity smell and nature all around you. You will survive, just like us! The house is very cozy and has a local Azorean personality

Be warned. I have lived through a real nightmare. There is mould everywhere in the house. The walls are wet in the bedrooms, everything smells musty, the general state of the house is terrible. During my stay I was forced to sleep in the bathroom because it was the only room without visible mould. Contact with the host was terrible. In spite of the numerous difficulties I experienced, Pat did not once show understanding or apologise for the situations (dirt, mould, leaking roof). During my holiday, the roof was repaired for two days (unsuccessfully). Pat did not once come to the house to talk to me and see the disastrous state of everything. The upstairs bathroom was not working - I was not informed of this. The downstairs bathrooms are cold and unpleasant. The worst part of it all was Pat's attitude - she was defensive and disbelieving all the time. This house poses a real health risk. We all cough and got sick after staying there. Be warned!!!

This place is very spacious - 3 bedrooms and a huge living room - and it has everything we needed for a longer stay (1 month), although a vacuum cleaner would have been nice. Wifi is perfect for demanding travellers. It's great to be so close to the sea and if your lucky, you'll be able to see a procession from your windows or (small) balcony When having questions, Pat always answers within a short period of time. Unfortunately the building is quite old (we had e leakage because of heavy rainfall) and there is no heating, which means it is chilly in april/may. Also, because of this: the appartment is damp and there is mold on the walls. Not the best climate to be in.
