The view is stunning. Wigfach is a little isolated so you need a car, but it is perfect for getting away from things, and only 5 minutes to Porthcawl and 10 minutes to Bridgend, so quite well situated. The hill down to the sea is steep so you have to be fit, but the dunes and the beach are wonderful. The view is amazing. The Bungalow décor is very much from the seventies, but that was quite cute really. Fairly basic in most rooms, but the lounge was lovely, a great area to relax and socialise, and the view from the window is incredible. No central heating so might be a bit cold in cooler weather, but not an issue in the warmer months. Great place to stay with a dog. Loads of wildlife, saw rabbits, foxes, and a weasel all pass the window at different times, and loads of birds including a large family of European Woodpeckers. Oh, and just a reminder, the view is fantastic, sat for hours watching the clouds rush on the wind and the sea crash in and creep out.

Lovely little place to get away from the busy day to day life with an excellent view over the Bristol Channel.
