I inquired about use of the elevator a couple weeks before our stay, initially was told management would check with owner. Never got a response. My mother is 74 and very diminished in mobility. She can climb stairs but not safely without help. No garage light switches appeared to operate outside lights. Lighting was poor. One shower curtain had mildew. Shower head broke and it took two days to get a response and that was after my husband called. I emailed twice before the phone call. That being said, the house was big and beautiful, a little worn in some places, very clean other than what I listed above. The price was very good for what we received. I had hoped to use the elevator and hot tub, but weren’t available. The service is what kept it from being a 5 star experience. It was very EASY to check in for my son who arrived before me, even though it was in my name. Prefer onsite check in, but not terrible. Leave off unavailable amenities. It’s a bait and switch otherwise.

This home in Wild Dunes could not be more beautiful. The space itself is everything and more. The beach is just steps away. Exceeds all expectations!

The location of the home is spectacular! Just a short walk from the beach. There was plenty of room for our extended family to spread out and sleep comfortably, and the bathrooms were clean. There were plenty of porches with beautiful views, though all could use a good pressure wash and repair/replacement of furniture. The billiard room and grand piano in the conservatory were unexpected, but so fun for our family! The dishwasher was broken, and most of the kitchenware we used had to be cleaned before use. We spent the entire weekend washing dishes. Management was unresponsive and did not send maintenance to attempt a repair. I am grateful that Wild Dunes and Airbnb worked together to offer compensation for the inconvenience that we experienced.

The house was exactly as advertised. Our stay was wonderful but over too soon. Perfectly accommodated our family and plenty of space to spread out.

We loved the location and the house. The Wild Dunes resort team was also very good to work with, timely answering any questions we had. It was great having the Wild Dunes pool amenities available with this rental.
