We had a great stay!

This house was exactly as pictured and a great location 10 minutes from stratton mountain. The outside was not functional for us since the snow was plowed against the outdoor area. It made it impossible to use the fire pit or barbecue and difficult for the dog to walk around and enjoy the grounds. There is no cell service and no wifi. When we asked about the wifi we were told to reboot the router and drive down the road to the sugar house if the reboot didn’t work. Based on the reviews left in the sign in book at the property we got the sense that there is never wifi. The number of extension cords was a bit scary. Everything seemed like it was permanently fixed to the walls so we felt alright but it might be a safety concern. It seemed like the entire house was being run off of three outlets that each had a number of extension cords and power strips plugged into it. We had a fun time at this air bnb but wouldn’t stay here again.

My partner and I spent a few days with our dog at Jason's cabin. It was a wonderful experience all around. The cabin is filled with things to do - the guitar, the records!, cards, a stellar VHS collection. The wood stove and great lighting make it feel like a woodland retreat. It's quiet and private. Our dog was cozy on the couch and loved sniffing around the surrounding woods. The kitchen is well-stocked. And the toilets - SO easy to use. Hot shower with great pressure. This cabin is a hidden gem and we can't wait to come back next season!
