Pippa’s deckhouse is a lovely little gem in a peaceful spot. It has beautiful surroundings and is in perfect walking distance from the town.

The property was as described. The interior decor and furnishing was lovely, stylish and modern- including the bathroom and kitchen. Upon arrival, we were disappointed with the over cleanliness of the property. There were old, worn slippers as we stepped inside the front door. The kitchen was not clean. Crumbs around and under the toaster. Coffee spillages around and under the coffee machine. The coffee machine was full of old used pods. The kitchen cabinets, walls and appliances had sticky food/spillages on them. The cutlery drawer was very crumby and the some cutlery was visibly dirty. The kitchen bins were visibly dirty. In the bathroom cabinets there was used toothbrushes, hairbrushes and used ear buds and a soap bar with a black, short curly hair stuck on it. In the main bedroom, there was hair on the pillowcase and a bloodstain in the throw. Cobwebs and dust throughout the property. Pippa’s response was ‘sorry for the inconvenience’. Cleaning refund requested- awaiting a reply ☹️☹️

Really enjoyed our stay, super quiet, wonderful surroundings, spacious and bright accommodation, lovely restaurants. Can’t recommend enough as a family of 4, (kids 6+10)

A short weekend stay to see family on Thorney Island. The accommodation was ideally located, easy to find and Pippa’s check-in instructions were easy to follow. The bed was very comfortable, the shower hot with excellent water pressure and the whole cabin was warm and inviting. The underfloor heating was an added bonus when it’s minus degrees outside. A quiet location and you wake up to the birds. Lovely spot!
