We had a nice stay in Karen’s house with great views from the terrace. The stairs are completely fine if you are in a fit condition but I would recommend taking only the things with you that you need and leave the rest in the trunk of your car like we did.

We absolutely loved staying in Karen’s place. The view is out of this world! There are quite a lot of stairs but it is worthwhile once you experience the view. Karen was super responsive, almost instantly replying to any questions that we had and she even allowed us to check in earlier. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to escape the city rush and to experience amazing sunsets/sunrises!

This was one of two rentals in the Plettenberg Bay area that we tried. The proximity to ocean views and the sound of crashing waves was mesmerizing and exactly what we had hoped for! The deck is spacious and the hammock is idyllic to relax, rest or meditate on and the views from the primary bedroom are breathtaking. We knew there were plenty of stairs to climb and having had surgery a few months prior I found them challenging and we decided to go out and back only once a day. That worked out really well as the views and ocean sounds are what you come here for. We opened our own “oyster bar” for daily sundowners on the deck - a great find at Robberg Fine Seafoods where they will Schuck them for you and put them on ice to take home!! Karen’s home has a magical karma and spirit to it!

What a beautiful house with the best sea views. Waking up hearing the waves rolling, sitting on the terrace seeing whales passing. It was just amazing and a very special experience. We all loved it. Karen is a great host and very responsive. Thank you Karen that we could stay in your house and experience Keurboomstrand.

This was an absolutely incredible place to stay. There is a lot of steps to get to it but it is absolutely worth it when you get to the top and see that wonderful view as well as good for the fitness! Karen was so helpful and kind during our stay and answered all my questions promptly and helpfully. The house was very well equipped and so comfortable, once you were there, you didn’t want to leave. The area felt very safe, calm and peaceful. It is definitely a house unlike any other, a very special place that we would highly recommend! Thank you Karen for renting out such a wonderful place.
