Tamara is an excellent host, available and communicative. The farmhouse exceeded our expectations and was beautifully appointed. The gardens were in bloom and gorgeous. I loved visiting the cows, chicks and ducks! Overall we were so happy to have stayed here. Thank you!

House and grounds are lovely. Everything has been restored beautifully. The historic feel has been maintained, with the benefit of modern high-end features. Great location next door to the community gardens and Good Cheer fields. I enjoyed all the birds in the yard, counted 22 species! (Also enjoyed the bottle of Dusted Valley 2012 Wallywood red blend.) Visitors should be sure they realize that there is only one bathroom, and it is on the first floor. The stairs are narrow and turn - could be a little difficult to navigate, especially in the middle of the night! And people staying in the upstairs bedrooms need to be aware that one opens into the other. So, close friends and family would probably be happiest there. What would make the Anderson farmhouse more ideal? Additional outdoor gathering spaces. Although the Adirondack chairs and picnic table look charming, more comfortable seating and outdoor dining space would be most welcome. Otherwise - perfection!

My sister and I were visiting for our dad's 80th birthday. We decided to stay at the beautifully restored farmhouse and really enjoyed the peacefulness while easily being able to walk to town. Tamara was very communicative in preparing for our visit and and the easy checking out procedures. Tamara really cares that people staying at her family's farmhouse enjoy their Langley visit. We would definitely stay at the farmhouse again.

We had a fantastic experience at the Anderson farm house. The historic home is spacious and has lovely views of the gardens and farm from every direction. We really appreciated how well-equipped it is for cooking and the snacks Tamara left for us. Our kids loved visiting the farm animals and playing with the toy collection. The location of the farm was ideal for us - on a quiet country road but still walking distance to Langley and a short drive to other fun parts of Whidbey Island. Tamara was a wonderful, responsive, and proactive host. We really appreciate her sharing a piece of her family history and look forward to visiting again!

This is a truly special spot, and our second time visiting in just a few months. Tamara is an incredible host - she has thought of everything you might need to have a comfortable and relaxing stay. The farm house has been beautifully restored and is cozy, welcoming, and full of love! We can’t wait to return!
