This is a difficult one to express. The property was absolutely magical! the scenery, the sound of the rain on the cottage, the peacefulness around the pool area just magical. My partner and I stayed at the JB cottage, we think the property as a whole would be great for a group of couples, small wedding parties and such. However, we failed to consider the downsides of an outdoor cottage. The whole structure of it was open and vulnerable to bugs, insects, geckos and cockroaches. We naively didn’t take proper considerations of how open the cottage is assuming it was somewhat sealed. Being allergic I was relieved I had brought my Epipen with me but that didn’t stop our anxiety from preventing us to sleep or feel at ease so we had to cut our stay short. Astral, the host was very understanding and stayed in contact with us to give us reassurances that these are harmless, even had her sun help us hunt down a gecko that jumped on the bed then disappeared. She agreed to refund us 50% x.

We had a lovely stay at this cottage. Clean, flexible check in time and the host was very responsive. We were allowed to use the pool which was great and enjoyed breakfast in the garden with the monkey’s. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft um die Westküste zu erleben. Nach B-Town und S-Town sind es jeweils knapp 20 Minuten mit dem Auto. Sehr ruhig gelegen, ein Mietwagen ist aber ein Muss. Wer zu zweit Ruhe abseits der Touristenhotels sucht ist hier genau richtig! Tolles Anwesen mit langer Historie.
