We absolutely loved our stay! Josephine’s place was perfect for our Easter holiday with our one year old. Easy to take the train to Bath for the day and the town itself was quite walkable with a few restaurants. Her place was very clean and very cozy, we loved using the fireplace! Would absolutely recommend to stay there!

Very nice house - decor is delightful and the house is very comfy! It's well located, a cute little cottage and has all the things you'd need. The host - though living abroad- was very responsive, kind and helpful and arrange for local help when needed. Unfortunately, there was some unpleasant surprises when arriving. First regarding the cleaness of the flat: one of the toilet was not clean (I'll spare the details...) + we also found some old dirty tissues on the floor of the bedroom. Then the heating was not working when we arrived - it was freezing- and it didn't work until lunctime the day after. The host did kindly send for help the day after but we were still very gold for the 1st 12 hours in the house. One tiny thing to mention - the fire alarm sets on very easily. It went on every time we cooked or used the toaster... Quite annoying! So overall - a very nice and cosy house BUT too expensive for the multiple issues we've had to deal with over the weekend.

The place was warm and welcoming. Josephine even provided some firewood and yummy bread to get us started. Good wifi and Netflix available. Great local pub a few doors down easy access to town to some beautiful restaurants and local stores. Highly recommend as a base for the area including Bath.

We had the most wonderful stay at JoJo’s beautiful home. The cottage was exactly as described and in the photos and was the best stocked and maintained Airbnb we have ever stayed at. It was pristinely clean and very comfortable. A wonderful relaxing stay!

We had a wonderful cosy Christmas. Josephine had kindly added Christmas decorations to make our arrival welcoming and special. It was perfect for a small family Christmas. The cutlery was limited and obviously a Christmas dinner has additional requirements in terms of crockery, serving dishes and suitable carving knives etc but we managed and it was still beautiful. Do go through the door marked private to find the utility room and additional shower room downstairs which we didn’t. The upstairs shower thermostat was temperamental so it would have been helpful to know about the downstairs shower and I regret not messaging Jo to ask. Obviously being December we had the heating on, but the locked upstairs windows meant overnight there was significant condensation on the windows…..however, being a beautiful listed building they are single glazed . Overall, it was cosy, comfortable and clean and we had a wonderful Christmas making new family memories.
