Staying at a great airbnb is nice. Staying at a great airbnb hosted by great people is amazing. We had the best of times at Greg and Julie’s cottage and are so grateful they decides to share their little piece of paradise. You can’t beat the location so close to the beach at Kailua and walking distance to Lanikai. They were very attentive with us and our 2 year old, who was in heaven hahing breakfast with a friendly conure for company everyday. We couldn’t have wished better.

Gregg's place was very clean and beautiful. Even though it is private, with it's own gated area and entry, his veterinary office was attached to the cottage we stayed in on this property next to his private home. It wasn't a problem for us or an inconvenience as we love animals and Gregg always let us know if he was going to be in there. There were plenty of fans and windows that kept the cottage very cool and breezy. It's nicely decorated with a beautiful covered patio to hang out in just like the pictures. The bed was very comfortable, the washer and dryer worked great and Gregg was available to answer any questions and give suggestion when needed. There was even a small market across the street to grab a coffee or food and the beach was literally a block away. It was a perfect location!

Das Cottage war sehr schön eingerichtet. Wir hatten mit 4 Personen ausreichend Platz. Man konnte sehr schön draussen essen und sitzen. Gregg war sehr hilfsbereit. Hora, der Vogel, war für unsere Kinder das Highlight! Die Unterkunft hat unsere Erwartungen voll erfüllt und war genau wie beschrieben.

I have been to Oahu many times to visit family. But this was my first time staying in the Kailua area. The Windsurfer Cottage is the perfect place to enjoy Kailua and Lanikai beaches. I really appreciated the natural materials used to build the cottage. The wood trim, paneling, island, table, and cabinets are gorgeous and gave the cottage so much character. I also loved the pebble shower floor and travertine tiled shower and bedroom floors. The cottage is such a convenient location across from the beach and the market where we can get everything from coffee, gourmet breakfasts, snacks, food to cook, and gifts to bring back to friends. Thanks so much for a fun and lovely place to stay! My kids and I enjoyed spending our Christmas vacation there.
