We spent two amazing weeks here and felt immediately at home. The house is both spacious and cozy, lovingly furnished with a stocked bookshelf and quirky Hawaiian decoration. The whole place is tropical and relaxed, and we spent a lot of time on the lovely wooden lanai overlooking the beautiful pool. The place, including the kitchen, is fully equipped and we didn't need anything. The location is ideal, steps from one of the island's most spectacular beaches. We spent countless memorable hours there, and loved walking along it to Kalapawai Market for coffee in the mornings. Each room has its own A/C which we used on still and/or warm nights. The louvered windows, ceiling fans, and windward-side location near the beach meant that we only used the A/C about half the nights. Sleeping with the island breeze and sound of the waves was magical. We only had one minor issue during our stay that the Glenda resolved immediately and effectively -- kudos. We'd happily stay here again!

We loved our stay Glenda’s home in Kailua. Having dinner on the lanai and swimming in the pool were highlights for us. The kitchen is well appointed and has everything you need for preparing meals. The house is a quick walk to the beach and we appreciated having access to beach chairs, snorkel gear, beach towels and a wagon. The mostly private beach access was lovely and we enjoyed exploring the town. Highly recommend and hope to return one day!

Glenda's place was perfect for us. The beach, the town, the winter weather. Nights were extremely quiet with a distinct sound of the ocean to lull you to sleep. The beautifully landscaped yard, enveloping a wonderful pool made the experience unforgettable.

Our favorite place! Second time renters and everything was perfect again. Easy communication and check-in. The house is steps from the nicest beach on Earth with wonderful neighbors all around. House is fully stocked with everything you need. Wouldn't change a thing.

Wow wow wow! Glenda’s home was more than we could ever have imagined. It’s about a 1 min walk to Kailua Beach, and we enjoyed falling asleep to the sound of the ocean every night. Her home has all the amenities needed for an extended stay. My family and I especially enjoyed the pool and the separate upstairs suite for our 12-year old daughter. Peter, our on-site host, was very friendly and easy to reach. We cannot wait to return to Kailua and would love to stay with Glenda again!
