This is a somewhat older, very comfortable, Hawaii home that's perfect for family gatherings. It's just a short walk to the beach, and beach chairs, towels, etc. are provided. We appreciated the well stocked kitchen (grocery staples and dishes, glassware, table linens, etc). The lawn and gardens, are very nice. Our family especially enjoyed dining on the covered lanai. Confirm terms of rental (minimum length of stay and cost) with owners.

From the moment I inquired about this spot, Misty was incredibly responsive. She remained that way throughout our stay. The house is steps from the beach, with all the amenities to make our stay perfect, including comfy AC. One thing I always appreciate about an Airbnb home is when the host leaves basic kitchen essentials. Mustard, ketchup, flour, salt, coffee; it’s just nice not needing to grab absolutely everything at the store when you’re only in a house for a week. There were also loads of towels, beach towels, chairs, umbrellas and mats that came in very handy. The location of the house is most ideal for Kailua as well. We’ve stayed in 20+ rentals in this area, and this spot of Kailua beach gives you the best access. Kailua Beach Park is just a short walk away, as well as Kalapawai market, Bob’s pizza, and Kailua water sports where you should definitely consider renting a bike. We do nearly every time we come and really enjoy that mode of transportation-getting back and forth to town and also enjoy the bike canal path nearby. Last, but not least, the bed was super comfortable. One of the best rental home beds we’ve slept on. I highly recommend this home.

Amazing home, beautiful yard and lanai, bountifully stocked kitchen and linens and beach gear. AC a great touch in the very hot summer weather. We have stayed here twice with our son’s family (4 and 7 year old grandsons) - our daughter’s family lives nearby in Kailua and her toddler son joined in the yard and lanai fun. It was a great place for us before and this time was even better. Proximity to beach superb. We love this place and will be back!

Cozy and charming and a spectacular yard. Not so formal that you are afraid to put your feet up. A "coffee cup walk" to the beach just one house away down a sweet little path. We drank coconut milk from our own yard and read books in the crook of a spreading tree. All the beach towels and toys we could need just bring your own board games. Shops. Rentals and groceries just 2 miles away. Exotic flowers fell into my hair as I read in the yard and the sounds of birds and waves woke me each morning. We are a family of 6 adults with local friends and had plenty of room to relax. Perfect in every way.
