The house is amazing. Tony and Joyce were very kind, responsive, and helpful hosts. We visited for our annual father/son trip and couldn't have been more happy. The outdoor cooking set up is great (gas + charcoal BBQ, blackstone, traeger)! Highly recommend. We will be back in the future.

This is a gorgeous lake-view home in a very remote location. Joyce is very attentive and helpful. There is no cell service in the area, but there is good WiFi, so making phone calls can be challenging. Download your maps before you get to the area. Have your food and other essentials with you because it is not a quick trip to the store in North Fork, especially at night. The house and pantry are well-stocked with basics and spices, and the ice maker is awesome! The HVAC was not working, but Joyce got us fans and hooked up a portable HVAC unit downstairs to keep the house as cool as possible. If you plan on using the paddle boards or kayaks, be aware that the lake was choked with a huge log jam, and until SCE clears the jam, you have to time your forays into the water, or else the log jam may be right up against the dock. The dock area is nice, but you'll have to do a little cleanup. We hope to return when it is a little cooler and less buggy at night to enjoy the dark skies!

Tony & Joyce’s home is beautiful, comfortable, and extremely peaceful. Surrounded by the Sierra National Forest and overlooking Redinger Lake, this is an ideal setting for anyone looking for a serene qetaway. The kitchen is great for cooking for a group. We loved listening to the nearby waterfall from the home’s deck. When we arrived, the lake was very low, but one strong oversight storm filled it up completely and make a perfect setting for a jaunt around the lake in the canoe!

By far one of the coolest airbnbs I have stayed at, the private lake is so relaxing to walk down to and around. There’s also a beautiful waterfall within walking distance from the gorgeous house. The interior of the house makes it clear these people love their home it’s very well taken care of, with adorable family photos. I would 100% stay here again. The town of north fork is very small but so adorable. I would highly recommend you stay here!

The location is jaw dropping! Bring everything you need on your way in, so you can enjoy all that the property and area have to offer with kayaking, hiking, etc. The house is so well equipped with everything you might need, and answer everything question that could come up, before you ask! It was delightful. Because it’s so remote, I do recommend shopping for everything first, and once you get there you do not want to leave!
