We had a great time staying at Annie’s place. Immaculately presented, with attention to detail right from the start with the welcome pack including wine, local meats and eggs etc. Lovely comfortable bed and linens. Great outdoor space for breakfast in the sun. Locality ideal for walks and exploring the beautiful surroundings. Excellent local pubs!. We experienced warmth, care and privacy of clearly a very passionate AirBNB host.
We had a wonderful break at the Cart Lodge! Thank you Annie, for your most amazing hospitality. We really enjoyed, the sausages, and the eggs, bread, and wine too, you were so generous. It is a beautifully converted and decorated, and extremely comfortable. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to others, and hopefully we will be back again before too long!
Honestly Annie’s place is beyond amazing, I’ve stayed in a lot of airbnbs - this was heads and shoulders above the rest, the lodge is beautiful, sparkling clean and homely. The bed is insanely comfortable, it is the best sleep I’ve had in years. The breakfast foods, snacks, milk and orange juice were such a surprise and a lovely welcoming treat. Felt right at home. The local pubs are lovely and within walking distance. I will 100% come back and stay again thank you so much Annie!

A lovely place to stay in a quiet and peaceful village. The accommodation definitely has the Wow factor which was enhanced by the wonderful welcome pack which included breakfast, a nice bottle of wine and a variety of nibbles. A great place to chill or enjoy local walks and the nearby village pub.
