We had a lovely time at the cabin! The view was absolutely breathtaking! My 3 year old daughter, dog, husband, and I enjoyed hiking around the property and driveway areas. We loved being out in nature and even saw a baby owl one night! I only rated 4 stars due to the drive in- when it says “4 wheel drive recommended”, it should really say 4 wheel drive required! I was able to handle the drive in with my RAV4 in 4 wheel drive, but would have loved a warning about how crazy steep the drive is to get to the cabin. But, it was totally worth the drive. Unfortunately, we had to leave 2 days early due to wildfires in the area. My daughter has a weak lung due to recent pneumonia, so she is very sensitive to respiratory issues. Thank goodness we left when we did, because the fire has grown to over 2000 acres and is only 25 minutes from the cabin!!!The host did tell me she thought it was safe to come back, but with the fires that close, it wasn’t worth risking my daughter’s health.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay with my mom, son, and corgi. The house was amazing, the view was fantastic, and we loved the pool. I particularly loved the hot tub after hiking in the mountains. Zac, the maintenance man, was very helpful with any and all concerns. I have a Subaru legacy and it got up the mountain just fine. I would totally stay here again.

Beautiful secluded cabin in the mountains! Our favorite thing was watching the hummingbirds feast while watching the sunset. The pool and hot tub were clean and so relaxing. About a 20 min drive into town so we usually only left once a day and made dinner at the cabin. The driveway was a little tricky with a Chevy Malibu but we were able to get up and down.

This was our 2nd time staying at Ashley's place! And we loved every second! we had such a wonderful family trip! Gorgeous views and cozy beautiful cabin and fun relaxing pool & hot tub!!! It's a dream! Can't wait to come back next year!

Took my teens to see the mountains for the first time and they had a blast! The view was the best in rileyville .The pool was nice and clean. Very close to Luray Caverns. We had so much fun! Ashley is a great host and also has a amazing property manager who fixed us up in 10 mins. Recommended for families who want to get away and slow down.
