My experience at the Duncan’s place was amazing. It was clean and gorgeous the host helped me with every question I had. My family and I had an amazing time will definitely stay there again if I have another chance to visit in North Carolina.

Pros - the master is very comfortable, great layout, location was perfect for what we were there to do. We hiked all week and had tons of fun. Without leaves on the trees there was a very pretty Mountain View. The drive to the house is very nice and easy. We felt very safe with our young kids. Cons - unfortunately it was dirty. Thick Cobwebs on the windows and logs, mold in the bathrooms, and in need of many minor repairs. The floors were very sticky/dirty, all the dishes/utensils were almost unusable. Rusty and still had food/grime on them. We had such a great time and did not let these things ruin our fun - the kids loved the pool table and the hot tub. If you are going to stay here, here is an honest review.

The cabin is on the south end of the Great Smokey Mountains National Park area and very near the Blue Ridge Parkway. Being on the southern end of the park allows you to miss most of the crowds that tend to be on the northern end. we spent several days exploring the park and it was very nice to relax in the hot tub after a long day of hiking and driving. The pool table and game area were nice to keep us occupied on a rainy day. Altogether a good experience. Would stay there again.
