The cottage is an amazing place to stay! You are surrounded by beautiful scenery at all times whether you sit on the deck or inside with large windows to see out. The hosts are so kind and welcoming they even gave us a tour of the cottage. The kitchen is stocked with essentials like spices, coffee, cooking spray and anything you would need to cook with. It’s conveniently located near plenty of hiking trails. Was an easy drive to get to after landing in anchorage. We would 1000% stay here again! We miss it already :)

Mark and Marilyn’s place was absolutely PERFECT! My husband and I enjoyed our time there immensely! Not only was the cabin so sweet, peaceful, and beautiful, but Mark and Marilyn were amazing hosts! They made sure we felt right at home the entire time! There was a snow storm one evening we were there and we woke up to find Marilyn so kindly sweeping all of the snow off of our steps leading to our car! That was just one of the many sweet things they did to make us feel so comfortable! All in all we loved everything about our stay with Mark and Marilyn! We will definitely recommend to anyone visiting the area, as well as hoping to return ourselves!

So pretty. The windows are perfectly designed and the view is BEYOND imagination. Everything shows the host's efforts and thoughts. All the blanket, towels smells like home. It is always so warm inside, even when we are taking showers, which is unexpected to us in Alaska, especially in the cottage, since our hotel couldn't do it. Everything you need is prepared, every spot is clean, every minute in the cottage is peaceful and heaven like. We are so lucky to be able to stay here during our trip. It is the real sanctuary.
