I had a lovely couple of days. The place was clean and tidy, I had a lovely breakfast basket with goodies each morning. Liz was very welcoming and friendly. I would 100% recommend it if you’re thinking on a visit to Ditchling Museum or the surrounding area.

I LOVe this place - so much so that it only took me 3 weeks to return 😊 The garden room is charm itself , immaculately clean & well presented and as the garden is blooming it was even more beautiful than last time. Liz is the ideal host as she is just so kind , and just seems like the most natural lovely host because she loves looking after her guests! It feels so safe to stay there as a single female traveler too. I enjoyed dining at lovely high end local eateries - The Bull (very good) , The lovely green Welly a great cafe for breaks in between cycling , and the White Horse Inn. Ditchling is a gorgeous little village with so much to offer. As a cyclist the area is beautiful to tour around and I hardly had time to enjoy the local Ditchling museum as I was too busy pedaling up the beacon. Of course II’ll be back …. That goes without saying !

All very pleasant and cosy. And Liz had kindly laid out breakfast with croissants and a bowl of fruit. She also left some milk. It's a tiny place but v quiet across the garden and good value.

One of the most lovely places I have stayed at. Liz was a warm and welcoming host and very patient with me arriving late after many train delays. She was happy to look after my bike and provided an indoor covered space to help out which was perfect for me and so kind . She had obviously put so much thought and care in getting her place really nice and welcoming for guests and I loved the big bed. . The garden room was immaculately clean and warm and cozy. Extra blankets and heated blankets and hot water bottles were also available just in case when needed. A huge fruit bowl , croissants and cereals were there for a really good quality breakfast and I feasted ! The room was absolutely quiet and very clean and the bed was very high end and comfortable. The bedding was so clean and crisp it could have been brand new I slept like a log and felt thoroughly spoilt with all of that TlC. I had a wonderful cycling mini- break. Very highly recommend Thanks liz, you’re an angel !
