The location of the house with the river within walking distance was great. The owner was very responsive and helpful! It’s a HUGE house. The drawbacks were the house is a bit dated and had a few maintenance drawbacks that impacted our stay slightly. Owner offered to address while we were they but it wouldn’t have made a difference since we had one day left. They said they would address after our departure. The river a walk away was the best part!

Large house that fit our group nicely. 5 min walk to river's edge with a steep hill so watch kids and elderly. Plenty of space indoors and outdoors to hang out, but you do share outdoor spaces with other renters. There are river outfitters that will pick you up at the house which is very handy.

Jan met us at the house and showed us around. Her house was exactly as described with lots of space so everyone felt comfortable. The river is down a steep hill with a gravel drive that we were able to make it up and down and we put up our canopy for shade and had a wonderful time on the river. At night we gathered outside on the large patio and had drinks around the fire. It was exactly what we needed. Thank you for sharing your home.

The hosts were lovely and very responsive. They allowed us to park our oversize trailer for no ch The house is, however, part of a multi-unit so we heard our neighbors through the night as if they were in our home. This was one of the most expensive rentals in the region and the photos led me to believe we had privacy. The house was very musty and hadn't been visited in months. There was still a Merry Christmas figurine on the master bed when we visited in March. I climbed in the very musty sheets and when I woke up, I found I had been sleeping in mouse droppings. All of the additional linens had evidence of rodents as well. The other guests in my party were kept up by mice / rats in the walls, and when the housekeeper came to clean, she admitted she just can't keep up with them and they're outsmarting her. Overall, for the price paid, I could have had significantly nicer accommodations and I wouldn't stay here again. It is in dire need of a renovation to fix many other issues.

This is the best place to stay with large family. They have a great place to sit at the river. Areas inside and out for groups to eat or play games.
