Shirley and Ron are wonderful hosts! They are both kind, friendly and highly responsive!! We had such a lovely time!!! We just loved their adorable pup Amber and got to visit with their kitty cats too!!

Shirley and Ron are some of the best people you could hope to meet in your life and once you experience the country life and there kind atmosphere you won’t want to leave, I enjoyed every second I was there and look forward to getting to experience another time in the treehouse and a great talk with our great hosts.

This was my third trip to the treehouse, and yet again, it did not disappoint. The treehouse has all the essentials needed for a nice weekend getaway. It is clean, comfortable, and cozy. Ron and Shirley are very responsive and always make you feel right at home. If you’re looking a nice quiet place to get away from it all, this is it. I’ll be back again!

Ron and Shirley are such lovely people—the kind you want to adopt as your grandparents and take home with you. They were kind and accommodating and saw to it that we had everything we needed for our treehouse stay. The treehouse itself was such a peaceful, relaxing experience. Comfortable, clean, small but not cramped, and so cozy with the woodstove lit. We enjoyed cooking outdoors in the fire pit as well as indoors on the little gas burner. It was a much-needed time away from home and everyday life to relax, unwind, and recharge the soul. Holly River State Park is close by (about 30 minutes) with several nice trail options, and Ron and Shirley also kindly let us meander around their property. Our stay was at the end of October, so we had a beautiful backdrop of fall foliage everywhere we went. Highly recommend! Thank you, Ron and Shirley! 🤍
