Staying at Kenneth’s cottage was an absolute pleasure and felt like a home away from home. So much character and furnished impeccably, and beside beautiful beaches and scenic nature, our stay couldn’t have been better. Kenneth’s hospitality and communication was perfect. We enjoyed the company of Rosie and Molly (the doggos) and the hens poking their heads in to say good morning. And the fresh eggs were appreciated. We will certainly be back!

A very stylish cozy cottage, high quality linen, large wood stove for cold evenings, two very comfy double beds, well-equipped kitchen. Chickens for entertainment and scraps. Good host, left us in peace.

If I could give this place 10 stars, I would!!! We started our trip to Cork area on the wrong foot with 2 flat tires, 2 miles from Ballyshane. Being our first trip to Ireland, we had no idea where to start so I contacted our host, who arrived to help us in moments- drove us back to Ballyshane, provided us with everything we needed till we could get our rental car fixed the next day, and then took us into town the next day to get 2 new tires. The barn was absolutely beautiful, more than what we expected from the listing- so quaint and idyllic, with the most beautiful surroundings. And the barn was more than well stocked with all the amenities we could possibly need and then some. I can't wait to go back!!
