We loved this place. It was awesome for dogs and pretty great for humans too. The house was walking distance to the beach and great restaurants. We really enjoyed Sushi Sunday at Mario's with live music as well as live music and fish tacos at Gyppo Ale Mill. It was a great stay.

Shelter Cove is a nice coastal town for a quiet vacation with the family. The people are very friendly and helpful. The home is a walkable distance to most of the tourist locations in town. It is well maintained, and we felt at home right from the time we stepped in. It had pretty much everything we needed for our two-night stay. The kitchen had most of the utensils we needed for cooking our food. We will stay in the same place if we go back to Shelter Cove again. Celeste was very helpful in reaching out to us with the information we needed to know during check-in..

We had a lovely stay! It was our first time in Shelter Cove and cannot wait to return. We cooked most of our own meals in the fantastic kitchen! The beds were very comfortable, our dogs loved the fenced in yard. The views from the back deck were absolute perfection. Looking forward to going back!

We enjoyed our stay here, even though it rained non stop the entire stay! The house is clean, private and relaxing and is walking distance to the beautiful Black Sands beach. The location works for trips to see the giant redwoods or Eureka further north, though the road in and out of Shelter Cove is very windy - wouldn't recommend for anybody that gets car sick.

Just went for the weekend with my family and our friends family. Felt like I was on a secluded island. The crazy drive in was definitely worth it. Store was pretty expensive so make sure to bring everything with you. Celeste welcomed my dog and she had a blast. Beds where comfortable. There was wifi, tv, games, propane bbq, and even a welcome treat bag from Celeste. The boat launch beach was a perfect place to hang out and let the kids play in the water. Definitely a relaxing weekend and would love to go back for a longer stay next time!
