Husband and I stayed for an impromptu coast and redwood vacation. The cabin/loft was super cute and functional. The Jetty and Lobby bar had delicious food and a really fun vibe. The internet was fast and worked well. The Bathhouse was really also really cute. There was some drag racing nearby over the weekend but the noise didn’t bother us and they stopped at a reasonable hour (8pmish I believe). We did not take advantage of the beach but it was a short walk. Instead, we visited Moonstone and Trinidad beaches. We were able to make several elaborate breakfasts in the cabin with the existing kitchen supplies. Eureka is just a few minutes drive and we stopped at the Coop for provisions. The bed was really comfortable. We slept so well and I generally have issues sleeping away from home. The shower water pressure is legit but we found that the hot water ran out it we used it at full pressure. Otherwise, it was perfect. Also loved the heated floors.

Such a lovely space in a lovely place! We were in town for a class across the street at the airfield so the location was perfect, but would stay there even it we were needing to be in eureka or arcata! The heated floors and the bath house next door were wonderful too! My only real complaint is that for a place that requires at least a weeks stay it’s missing some details to make the longer stays convenient. There’s not a lot of options for keeping/hanging clothes, the kitchen was not stocked with the basics as the listing implied and a 10am checkout in a place you’ve spent 10 days feels a bit rushed. We asked for a later checkout but were told they don’t do that, but we could pay for another night if we wanted (which we were able to do, but definitely not as accommodating as we had been told to expect!)

The loft was very comfy and nice. The surrounding area was not that nice though, maybe due to the fact it was not peak season. The social club across the street was not that "social".
