We stayed for 9 days at Rae and Charlie's place with our one year old baby. We loved our stay here. Rae and Charlie are wonderful hosts and they are very accommodative and thoughtful of all needs of their guests. Their place is like a small quiet park with art, decor, lush greenery, water (pool and canals), wonderful kitchen, dining/bar area, and many more thoughtful details. The common kitchen had everything we needed to make our meals. Internet was great and the relatives of Rae & Charlie (who also live on the property) were very welcoming too. Even though there are many homes and many people living there, everyone feels like they have their own space and privacy. It is difficult to explain the entire place in a short review, but it is definitely a calm and peaceful place to visit and experience away from noise and traffic of Bangkok.

　バンコクの隣の県のノンタブリー県に直ぐの場所で、ローカル色満載です。近所にはお寺や雑貨店、食堂があり、タイ人達に混じってローカルな生活を味わえます。小さいけど素敵なジャングル風のガーデンもゆったりでき、暑くなればいつも綺麗に清掃されたプールに飛び込み暑さから開放されます。５分くらい歩くとメインロードがあり、そこからバスやタクシーを利用できます。 　ホストのRaewynさんとCharlieさんはとても気さくで明るく素敵な方でした。深夜にも関わらず迎えに来てくれたり、またまた深夜にも関わらずタクシーを手配し見送ってくれたりしてくれました。 ９日間の滞在中に３回もホームパーティーに誘って頂き、そのうち２回出席しましたが、欧米の宿泊客や近所のタイ人の方々と思い出に残る時間を過ごせました。パーティーの料理も凄く美味しく、ついビールを飲むペースが速くなりました。 　ありきたりのタイ旅行ではない「リアルなタイ」を感じつつ、少々リゾート的な雰囲気も楽しめる場所です。リピータの方々には特にお勧めです。

Raewyn and Charlie were lovely hosts and their cottage is a real oasis in Bangkok. It's quite a way from the centre (we found the river bus the best option but it takes about an hour as you have to get a bus to the pier) so if you're interested in nightlife it wouldn't be the best. For us it was perfect. Clean, comfortable, spacious, an area to prepare food and hosts who were there when you need them but not 'in your face'. We had a lovely lunch with Charlie, Raewyn and the other guests one day and really appreciated the swimming pool.

What can I say Raewyn and Charlie...I wish there were more people like them. Place itself was wondrous in its own way in real thai suburb. Quiet, garden setting, trees, walkways...like mini botanical garden. Small shops 50-60m away, good thai food restaurants 20 min walk, 10-15 min bus ride to big market area and Nothaburi Pier where you can catch shutle boat to near down town and Sky Train. We did stay 11 days at Raewyns and Charlies place.
