贝纳克和卡泽纳克 · 整套民居 · 2室3床1.5卫 · 可住3人 · In the heart of Beynac, house of the XIVth century
Are you dreaming of a holiday in a timeless place? Don't hesitate! Book now! But, why choose our home? * It dates from the 14th century and is one of the historic buildings of the medieval village of Beynac. *We have completely renovated it, keeping it authentic and adding comfort. * It is located halfway between the river and the castle, close to shops. * It is atypical and comfortable, It is the guarantee of a change of scenery. The house offers 3 beautiful spaces: a pleasant living room with its equipped kitchen area, its sitting area, the dining area but also 2 bedrooms (one equipped with a full bathroom and the other equipped with a shower room). You can fully enjoy the terrace-garden (25m²): a magical space, in the heart of the old stones of the village. You can have your aperitifs, taste the special atmosphere, comfortably seated on a deck chair but also enjoy a moment of reading. You will enjoy the charm of the village while being quiet.
The House is well presented with a modern kitchen space and a modern albeit bijou en-suite shower room. Clearly care has been taken with the renovation. We don’t travel light and our stay in Beynac was only part of our holiday - therefore we had a lot of luggage which proved a problem as there was not much hanging/storage space in the large master bedroom. Access to the property is a steep climb (dragging our luggage up to the house was a struggle) the lane then continues steeply up to the chateau. The gated access to La Tour is shared by another property and there are steps then up to La Tour. The house is very old with lots of charm and the view of the Dordogne from the small garden is beautiful. We like our privacy and enjoy outdoor space to eat and relax so was a little put out that the small terrace belonging to the other property was (for us) intrusive. The Housekeeper - Martine - was a joy - communication was fun - but nothing was to much trouble for her.
Beynac is one of our favorite places to stay in the world and Frederique has some of the best accommodations in the village. The accommodations are chock full of character yet with all the modern conveniences one expects. She (and her assistant Martine) were incredibly responsive and helpful...always available to answer any questions or offer suggestions. Martine even helped carry our luggage into and out of our accommodation! We are returning to Beynac in the near future and will plan our trip around Frederique's property accommodations!
You can only fall under the spell of Beynac: its small alleys, its shops, its unmissable castle which has served as the backdrop for many films (Jeanne d Arc, Visitors II ...).
Try out the gabarres (old boats) ride on the Dordogne!
Dare to have an aperitif at the Bô bar to take the pulse of the village ...
Where to dine?
We recommend La Petite Tonnelle: the essential restaurant in our town for its decor, for its menu, for its service but also for these prices.
A visit to Maison Lembert is also essential during your stay.
This establishment produces excellent foie gras: our favorites!
It also offers tasty dishes cooked in jars, walnut oil, truffles.
Above the shop, an Inn from which you will have a very pleasant view of the village fortress.
We recommend that you come to Beynac by car.
On request, we can take out a subscription to the village car parks for you: € 35 per week (specify your type of vehicle and its registration).
During your holidays, you can go down the Dordogne by barge, canoe or kayak.
If you want to rent a bike, we recommend the Bus and Bike company in Castlenaud la chapelle.
The flight over the valley of the castles in hot air balloons is a must.
自我介绍
I love life, nature, travel and good food. People say that I am a positive and cheerful and funny woman. For 20 years I was director of 8 travel agencies. And then I was the co-owner of a guesthouse. My parents transmitted to me their passion for Périgord more than 20 years ago - and I love to share this with you. Beynac is more than just a village, it is a medieval site with a very special atmosphere. I'm sure you'll love it !
