The hosts were easy to communicate with and very informative on places to visit and restaurants. The home was the perfect size for our family of 6.

We had another nice stay at this house (3rd year in a row). The house is conveniently located a short drive from Charlestown beach and has a lot of space. There are plenty of beds for a number of guests and a large kitchen area with two tables and a number of chairs. However, we were disappointed that the house no longer had any cable tv this year. We normally wouldn’t rent a place without any tv as we have young kids who go to bed early. A few lights were also out (including master walk in closet) which made it difficult considering we were sharing that room with a baby. Lastly, there is only one weekly garbage pick up (mid week) so the bins were filled with the garbage from prior guests until a few days into our stay. These are easy fixes we hope the hosts will remedy!

Thank you for having us. You were very quick at responding and we appreciate you. I don’t want to sound like I’m complaining about the small stuff but I think these things are important to mention that could be improved for future guests. Upon arrival, the home was not clean. The floors were very dirty. We swept and mopped and mopped several times because it was black. (Just want you to know in case your paying someone to clean because that’s unacceptable). The listing says cable and it doesn’t have cable so that should be changed because if we knew we would have brought a roku or firestick to plug in. Unfortunately, we had to buy a roku to plug in to be able to watch the news and some shows to wind the kids down at night. The tv remotes had no batteries.The grill was filthy. There was two propane tanks. We used the grill once to make burgers the first night and it ran out of gas and the 2nd tank was also empty. We did not fill either tanks back up since it seems we were left with a 1/4 tank. The outside shower had no shower head and was disgusting. We bought a shower head and fixed the shower and cleaned it out. The stove burners aren’t all working. The can opener doesn’t turn at all, just so you know. Very hard to open 6 cans of tuna by making holes all around because it wouldn’t turn. There wasn’t any hand soap or sanitizing materials. I think those would be especially important during COVID. I hope this will help the hospitality of your home and for the future guests. Thank you!

The house is spacious and comfortable. Ardemis provides all the creature comforts for guests. We particularly appreciated the grill and kitchen amenities. Her care for guests shows through communication and small touches. If there were anything less than great about the house, it was the slight musty smell which most guests would hardly notice. Otherwise a great little house.
