Debbie and Terry were prefect hosts. What a quiet and peaceful spot to watch the eclipse! Gilfeathers at the main road had delicious food, and the quaint town of Vergennes was only 5 minutes away.

We ended up staying at the room above the garage, since this cabin was closed off for the winter. Debbie was very helpful - our booking went through for the (closed) cabin, but she quickly offered us a full refund if we wanted it or an alternative place to stay, listed as Muddy creek on Airbnb (can't find a way to link to it). We're glad we took up the offer, since it was much bigger than the photos, with a functioning kitchen, cozy vibe and nice layout that was perfect for a chilly few days. The overall property/location was a good find, their dogs are friendly, our dog was able to run around offleash which is always a plus with the energetic ones. Its ~30 minutes to Burlington as well as trails, would love to come back in summer.

We loved our stay at Debbie’s cabin! We were in Vermont for a wedding in a nearby town and wanted a middle ground between camping and hotel - so Debbie’s place was a great glamping option. Our pups had the best time running around in the fenced yard outside the cabin and got to say hi to the two farm dogs! The cabin itself was cozy and had everything we needed for a long weekend and then some. The bed is definitely on the firm side (but far more comfortable than a cot or sleeping bag would have been!), but we loved waking up to the light from the sunrise shining in. We’d love to stay at Debbie’s place again sometime in the future!

We absolutely loved our stay at Debbie’s slice of heaven! Debbie gave us great recommendations in the area. Her property was so beautiful and peaceful. Our pups and daughter loved the fenced in yard. It was a perfect getaway. We hope to return again in the future!
