Great cabin experience with an amazing view! It was easy to get to with a small car (no 4x4 required). We chose to walk to Sigiriya or where there are many restaurants, but Peter has tuk-tuk or car transport sorted. It was clean, well organised, and Peter is very proactive in communication.

Such a beautiful and peaceful place. We felt one with nature and enjoyed every minute of our stay. The view to the rock is amazing. Peter and his crew were super kind and helpful.

We stayed at Peter‘s ‚cabin‘ with our two daughters (4 and 2). The cabin was larger than I expected. The surrounding is absolutely stunning. We saw peacocks, herands, king fisher, hornbill, eagel, Ibis, chipmunks and mokeys (the friendly kind). The house is a little bit far out, but there is a very friendly and funny driver Raja, who will pick you up and bring you wherever you need to go. There are bicycles available too. Peter is super friendly and kept checking in with us via telephone several times during our 9 day stay. Sumith the caretaker of the property is lovely, took care of all our needs and provided dinner for us whenever we wanted. This was an absolutely amazing experience. Thank you Peter, Sumith and Raja!!!

amazing place in the semi-wild. Close enough to the village to walk during the day. the cabin itself is nicely decorated and offers all the amenities needed for a nice holiday, there even is a kitchen which is rare in Sri Lanka. the host Peter is probably the best host we have had in Sri Lanka, and is reachable all the time. He organised transportation for us on multiple occasions and made sure that we were comfortable and had everything we needed. the groundskeeper sumith lives on the same property but far enough away to offer all the privacy one needs, he is also extremely helpful. Sumith offers dinner, in our case curry, which is delicious and reasonably priced. there is also a cab driver called raja who offers tuktuk and taxi rides around the surrounding area. all in all i cannot recommend this place enough if you are looking for an airbnb in sigiriya
