Was no tea coffee sugar and me and my partner took baths cos we ain't fond of cold showers apart for that it was a lovely stay
Great cottage, very homely. Facilities great - washing machine/dishwasher. Hot tub was great.
The cottage has so much history and charm, with thick walls, sloping floors, big fireplaces and big beams. We loved its character. The beds were comfy and we all slept brilliantly, it was so cosy and you couldn’t hear anything from outside! The only downside of the cottage for us was the bathroom. The ceiling is low and we are all tall so we couldn’t stand upright in the shower. If you are 5 foot 5 or less it would probably be ok. There was mould and damp in the bathroom too. If the bathroom and kitchen were updated the cottage would be five stars. The location is perfect, opposite an amazing pub which does great beer and food. We ate there every night, in front of a roaring fire. And fabulous walks right from the door. Amazing spot!
