Food was ok, stay was ok, host kept asking if we needed anything time to time, but he kind of sat there a few times, or walked in suddenly too often while we were all chilling, we weren’t allowed to sit outside the living area at midnight, he kept asking when we would sleep, so all this felt like too much monitoring and interference.

Hilal was very cooperative in the beginning but there is huge room for improvement. The Host failed to understand our basic requirements (For eg he got 4 cups for 5 people each time). But he was quite cooperative and very hard working. Hilal was proactive with certain things and tried to ensure our safety too. However on day 2 of the stay Hilal entered our private room multiple times and once without knocking the door when my sister felt like an invasion of privacy.

Unfortunately this has to be my first bad experience at a place booked via airbnb but i guess it had to happen sometime. Pros: 1. Free limited breakfast included. 2. Comfortable bed 3. If booked just a few days prior it's available for very cheap (unfortunately we booked it a month in advance so had to pay double) Cons: 1. Extremely invasive host. -asked to write a review at least 4 times before we even got to see our room. -enters the room (even of female guests without knocking) -has been constantly harassing by calls and messages to write a review and had to be blocked everywhere. 2. Terrible location of the houseboat right at the back with next to no view. 3. Shikara collaboration. - the shikara he has tied up with is in terrible condition. - forces you to take an overpriced tour with it even if you're not interested. -lies about the timings so you're forced to have a paid dinner in the houseboat and charges to go to and fro. It's best to avoid this one.
