位置偏僻一些，不是太好找。房东问讯很快赶来，把我们带到住处。新建的独栋住宅，房间宽敞，有四个卧室。环境有乡土气息，周边有养马场，离圆顶礁国家公园非常近。

Basecamp for desert adventures. Best hot water for showers, fast WiFi, great living room to hang out. We each had our own bedrooms for the 4 of us. Best part was being close to Stans for a milkshake!

The house was clean and cozy. Good place to start your outdoor excursions from. It did rain one day and because of the terrain that it’s in mud is an issue. Slippers are definitely needed to keep the house clean. Could use good old fashioned mud scraper on the porch and few stepping stones in front of the house. Way cheaper than local hotel after splitting the stay between 4 couples. Would use again.

I didn’t realize at the time of booking that Jeanette is the manager of Whispering Sands Motel, when I arrived I was amazed how much was provided even skin cream, deodorant, dental kit and Tylenol, and amazingly enough I just reached a point at which I ran out of some of these items during my roadtrip. There were 3 flavors of coffee mate. This airbnb was also the most generous with towels out of most airbnb I've been to. I have very long hair that could use a few extra towels to dry so thanks a lot for that. Then I clicked on her profile and saw that she was the manager and thought, go figure, shes a professional in hospitality. the only con of the house is that the air con is loud, but nighttime in the desert is cold so you are most likely just turning it on during the day while you are out exploring so you can come back to an already air conditioned house in the afternoon.
