Amazing place! Better than the listing suggests. We experienced huge amounts of snow and the power was out for most of our stay, consistent with the surrounding areas. Nonetheless, it was a lovely place to be while watching the snow fall and close to places to sled. We especially enjoyed the convenience of Murphy’s and Arnold and the makeshift sledding at Calaveras Big Trees. We already want to book it again.

Nice and cozy cabin located close to town and state park. We drove up a few miles up from the cabin and there were snow. The cabin was very warm when it’s cold outside. Easy to load in and out due to the flat parking area. Had a nice time.

We were at the cabin with young kids for 3 nights. The home was clean, tastefully decorated and conveniently located. The host had a guidebook with a lot of useful information about the area. We visited the big trees state park, California caverns and hiked natural bridges ~ all of which were close by, making for a fun outdoorsy trip. We cooked all but one meal at the cabin. The kitchen was missing a few essentials. We did try to reach out to the host but after the first exchange did not hear back.
