Diane and Neil were lovely. They had the house so well stocked with everything we would need, lots of blankets, lots of towels and food in the fridge to get us started. They were really helpful and kind to my 2 boys. the pool was even better than we expected and the view was class. I would highly recommend to anybody.

Spent two nights at Neal and Diane's for the "El Lago" Trail Run. The location was great, just a short walk from where the race was starting. The house was cozy, clean and with everything we needed to make a few meals during our stay. Diane, Neal and their two cute dogs greeted us upon our arrival, and were very prompt to answer messages from us. The pool has a beautiful view. Thank you for a great stay!

Una excelente casa para desconectar con el estres del mundo real! Una zona muy tranquila segura, la piscina excelente con agua caliente! Tronadora un clima excelente aunque en las zonas cercanas estuviera caliente tronadora se mantenia muy fresco! Se podia dormir muy bien! Algunas veces estaba muy frio pero era muy bueno

I cannot say enough good things about Neal and Diane! They are genuinely kind people! The house was amazing, just what they said in the description it would be. Everything we needed was there, when we arrived they even had a loaf of bread and pb and j for us in case we were too tired to go out. They arranged for some locals to come over for a pool party with my daughter which was incredibly thoughtful. We visited in mid March for spring break and the weather was perfect! Their property has banana trees, pineapple plants, and much more. We even saw a toucan! Having their covered pool was nice because we didn’t have to put sunscreen on to swim every time. The house is close enough you can walk to some restaurants and grocery stores but on a quiet road with beautiful views. Close to Tilaran and we did a day trip to Monteverde which took a little under two hours. It was nice to be away from all the touristy areas and if we come back to Costa Rica we would without a doubt stay again!
