The perfect getaway to relax and recharge - this cottage is a gem! Ruth was incredibly welcoming and left us some delicious goodies in the kitchen on our arrival. Being so close to Lulworth Cove makes this location perfect. To top it all off the hot tub was a dream after a day of walking. Would definitely recommend!

We had a lovely time staying in the Annex of the property. It’s a beautiful location with the Jurassic coast close by + lots of things to explore in the local area. We brought our puppy on a staycation and we couldn’t have picked a better spot to stay. The hot tub was great to use at the end of a busy day of activities, and was great to cook a good few meals in the functional kitchen. The welcome hamper was also a very nice touch, would 100% recommend anyone to stay who happens upon this review 👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿

The pictures don’t even begin to capture how magical this place is! Such a cosy space, and the it was an absolute delight listening to the dawn chorus in the hot tub in the morning. Such a perfect location, and the most wonderful cottage to spend a romantic weekend.

Ruth was extremely helpful and was on hand at all times throughout our stay - she went over and above to assist us when our car broke down nearby and did everything she could to help us reach the property and feel at home. We will definitely return in the future and that will be predominantly down to the fantastic help and welcome that we received - thank you so much, Nick and Jules x

Beautiful little cottage. Very welcoming to 2 & 4-legged guests alike. Ruth is a great host, her recommendations are perfect & their dogs are lovely and friendly. We slept like logs in the fabulous king bed, it’s so dark & cosy, with just owls hooting in the distance. We even enjoyed the hot tub in February! Wifi is good. A great base to explore Dorset. If you have a reactive dog or limited recall (or both like us) it’s worth noting that the cottage garden is accessed via the drive in the winter, and has cows grazing nearby (but not right by the garden). Do try the cafe & Walled Garden, and the Sculptures on the Lake - both are nearby & dog friendly. Further afield we had some lovely dog friendly cafe breakfasts & pub food across Dorset. The Crusty Cobb bakery in Dorchester does the biggest Belgium Bun, The New Inn at Cerne Abbas is very welcoming, the Gaggle of Geese pub has a great goat pen, & The Countryman Inn does a fab Wednesday carvery. You will love the cottage & Dorset.
