We stayed for a week and thoroughly enjoyed being based at East Gate, which is well located for the sights. Karen was very helpful and responded rapidly to communications. The property is modern well designed and comfortable with lovely views over Dury Voe. No hesitation in recommending.

East Gate is undoubtedly at the top of the list with the very best Airbnb properties we've stayed in. The house is extremely welcoming, spotlessly clean and very well equipped. Its location overlooking Dury Voe offers a great view, whilst also meaning the property is perfectly positioned to travel out in any direction to explore the different areas and islands of Shetland. Karen is a very proactive and responsive host, providing the necessary information before our stay as well as checking in to make sure all was well during it. We really enjoyed our time at East Gate and look forward to making a return visit. Many thanks for everything, Karen!
