The location was perfect – in lovely Mouille Point with the perfect view of the ocean. Check-in was easy and after some initial WiFi issues, the host was very responsive and sent someone to fix it and it was perfect for the rest of our stay. The apartment entrance is quite cluttered and just needs a screen door or small curtain as it’s a bit off putting to walk straight into a storage area of cleaning equipment before the actual unit. A few small maintenance issues with windows that need to be put back on their hinges, a broken mirror in the bedroom, and the bathrooms could do with some TLC renovations. Upstairs there is a shared bathroom so you need to go into the one bedroom to access it. Fine if you’re family or close friends. That said, the location makes up for that all and the view from the main room and the lounge is just out of this world.

A nice apartment with lovely view of the promenade. However our stay was ruined by the rental agents making promises and not delivering. Nowhere in the description of the apartment do they mention that access to the upstairs bedrooms is via a very steep and narrow staircase. It was almost impossible to take us luggage to the rooms. Would hate to think how an older family would have managed. The parking was an issue. No garage remote was in our handover pack resulting in us parking our car in the street. After repeated messages and promises we eventually got the garage access the day before we were leaving. This two issues seem to be a common theme in previous reviews. Really unsatisfied and I would suggest other guests to do their homework on these agents. Dassen Naidoo
