Salem River Inn is a charming bed and breakfast located on the banks of the Delaware River in Salem, New Jersey. The inn has three rooms. The Tower Suite is the largest room and has a view of both the meadow and the river. We loved every minute in it, but the sunsets are the best to enjoy, sitting on the private balcony and sipping the wine. The innkeepers, Yvonne and Jim, are incredibly welcoming and gracious hosts. They are always willing to go the extra mile to make sure their guests have a wonderful stay. The inn is a perfect place to relax and escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway.

We had a wonderful time at the Salem River Inn! We stayed in the Tower Suite, the largest of the Inn's three offerings, and loved every minute of it. Two private balconies - one on the main floor and one up in the tower. Plenty of space, as there is a full kitchen and living room in addition to the bedroom/bathroom area. Very clean. Yvonne was an excellent host and always reachable. The private breakfast on the main deck of the Inn was a beautiful touch, overlooking the grounds and - of course - the Delaware River. While this stay was just a quick, one-night getaway for us, we were most assuredly be back!

What a wonderful weekend.The Inn and It’s grounds are beautiful with plenty of room to explore.The tower suit was more than we imagined with breathtaking views and gorgeous sunsets. I’d like to thank our host.He went above and beyond.We couldn’t have asked for more.

Recommend the Tower Suite! This is a beautiful peaceful spot overlooking the water. The hosts were lovely and so accommodating. This was our first Airbnb experience and it was a winner. We brought our tandem kayak and there is easy access to the River/Bay. Did a couple hour excursion on the water and we lucked out with perfect weather conditions. The Tower Suite has a lovely little kitchen so brought along some bubbly and a few things, got Seafood from Shags Crab & Seafood close by for a fabulous dinner overlooking the water. Breakfast was excellent as well. Will definitely return in the future. Thank you Yvonne and Jim for introducing us to the Airbnb world!

This place was way more then we expected! Pictures do not do it justice. We absolutely love this place and will come back hopefully every year !!
