On our first day we had 6k stolen from our room - from a book inside a drawer and a toiletry bag. We think it was the cleaners Host was initially responsive and said he had submitted a police report and the hotel manager would look at security tapes. We were also told this was a new crew (less than a week) but they trusted them as they had cleaned others that week without issue 2 days later after I followed up I was told they couldn’t do anything until we went to the police station and filed a report - was also confused given initial messages. For the next 3 days I never heard anything - host never checked again We declined cleaning the rest of the week. This exposed holes in the cleanliness of the property - water leaking from ceilings, a general smell of sewage throughout the property. I see why they usually offer daily cleaning - to musk all this When we initially entered most stuff was clean. Except curtains, couches etc which had stains on them

Overall, we enjoyed our stay here. The condo is like the pictures but requires some maintenance. The staff is excellent and always willing to please and help with anything. I think it's important to note that it is up a very, very steep hill so if you can't walk or do stairs very well, this isn't for you. Also, the airport is 5 minutes away. You can literally see the tarmac from the balcony. It will be loud as planes land and take off, but the bedrooms are in the back and it didn't disturb us when we were sleeping. We did thoroughly enjoy the amount of space in the common living areas. And the view and sunsets are spectacular. The restaurant is up an even steeper hill than the condo, but if you call ahead they will send a pick-up and drop-off from your condo to the restaurant. This was very much appreciated as my husband has bad hips and can't walk hills or do stairs very well.
