Can't say enough good things about Taise's place. Super responsive, a great deal, and clear instructions for check in and checkout. Super accommodating and a great experience. 10/10 would stay again.

Please stay here if you get the chance; it is the best homestay ever. Delicious and healthy breakfast, and they will cater to each guest's diet restrictions and preferences. Kaoru-san is the most delightful host, and Cristina was wonderful for conversation and also translation when needed. Very quiet neighborhood, a little bit of a walk from the train station, but I enjoyed the walk very much each day. Very convenient to get into Tokyo or Shinjuku or Ikebukuro just by taking the one train line. Again, best place to stay that you will find.

The house was big, clean and nice! Kaoru-san was so nice and helpful with me. The room was comfortable and very nice. I recommend Kaoru-san's house!!

Very clean and excellent location! Only a 10 minute walk from Shinjuku station, from where you can get anywhere in Tokyo, and tons of delicious restaurants. A great taste of what life is like living in Tokyo - I loved having my own tiny, authentic apartment. Cristina was super easy to reach via WhatsApp and helped make sure my stay was a success.

Lovely house in a lovely area. 13 minutes or so walk to minami asagaya station which will get you straight to shinjuku station in about 15 minutes or so. Straight to Tokyo station in 30 minutes, both no transfers needed. Cristina was very helpful and Kaoru San was the most wonderful hospitable person. I want to say the walk to the house was one of the more enjoyable aspects of the trip. At first I was a little wary of walking to a station and not being closer to shinjuku station. I absolutely loved this location. The neighborhood is so quintessentially Japanese. Tiny roads winding past parks and high schools playing baseball. I really did feel I was transported into so many shows I had seen about Japan. The city was amazing as well, but I didn’t really feel I was in Japan until I walked from the subway past those izakayas and down these quiet neighborhood streets. Absolutely loved it!
