We arrived late at the hotel but Bamdev was kind enough to wait for us and let us check in. Bamdev was very responsive and answered all my queries politely. The rooms were clean and had all the amenities listed in the description. All the shopping needs or restaurants are nearby.

Absolutely the nicest family you could stay with! They’re always around and working so hard on the property, cooking, doing laundry, etc. it’s such a great value. Water is super hot and wifi is great! The building is beautiful on the inside - old marble and stays nice and cool if you’re here during warmer times. Big roof to hang your laundry. Water and soap etc. in the room already and cozy linens. Very close to everything and across from the lake. Near a great Shiva temple, boat rides to Devi temple… etc!

I stayed for a month and it was exactly what I was looking for: an interesting city, a clean and quiet room, great customer service, and wifi that ALWAYS works. - Perfect location 200 meters from Fewa Lake, set back just a bit off the main street so that you don't hear the noise. Restaurants, groceries, shopping, all walkable in less than 5 minutes. Yet, the Diplomat is tucked away into it's own peaceful little oasis, so no main street frenzy. - Room was spacious, well decorated, with a very comfortable bed and clean crisp white sheets that were regularly changed. I could lie in bed and watch the clouds waft over the snow-covered peaks of Annapurna, truly amazing. - Exceptional customer service was cheerful, prompt, and attentive without being overbearing. - Wifi access points on every floor plugged into battery backup, so you are never without a connection, including on the covered roof-top terrace. - In short, I had a wonderful experience and highly recommend this hotel.
