Beautiful & Peaceful Stay! My husband and I really enjoyed ourselves here :) Dori is wonderful and helped surprise my husband with some decor for his birthday in the treehouse. He was so surprised as he didn’t know where we were staying! Only met her one dog lulu , and she was so precious and sweet!
Beautiful stay! Dori was a lovely host and we enjoyed our weekend getaway so much. The breakfast was delicious, the bed was super cozy, and the bathroom was perfect.
This is a wonderfully peaceful getaway. The tree house is roomier that it looks in the photos and the view is spectacular. We really appreciated the attention the host pays to sustainability and the environment. We hope to come back in the summer to enjoy some swimming. We absolutely loved our short stay.
The place was beautiful! It was a bit smaller than we expected, but the view and the cleanliness quickly made up for it. Dori is a very responsive, proactive host and her dogs made great company!

Arriving from Edmonton many years ago on the West Coast, I soon fell in love with the ocean, the mountains and the plethora of outdoor activities. Salt Spring became a frequently visited island to continue to explore the outdoors and take a break from the whirlwind of city life. Salt Spring is home to many fond memories of family and friends and I am grateful to be able to have this sanctuary to share. Working in the healthcare industry for many years as a nurse, I am committed to healing and health in a very holistic way. My home on Salt Spring offers this holistic approach to health and wellness. The calm waves of the ocean, the serenity of the sunsets, the freshness of the forests bring a mindful and present state of being. I am also a new Kundalini yoga instructor and teach classes in the newly renovated studio on the property. Guests are welcome to drop in to yoga classes when scheduled. And if you need a dose of action, Ganges is a short hop away to pick up groceries, take in the Saturday market, take a yoga class or shop at the many galleries. It is all here!
