Saltaire Cottage is a peaceful forest getaway with everything you need to relax with friends and family, including a luxurious cedar hot tub. Located on the North End of Salt Spring Island, about 15 minutes from Ganges, Saltaire Cottage is ideal for a getaway with friends, family or some solo peace and quiet. Venture into town and explore Salt Spring Island or just relax in your own personal oasis. Saltaire Cottage sits at the end of a quiet gravel road tucked away amidst the trees for maximum privacy. While we live on the property, the cottage has its own driveway and feels completely separate to the main house. There is little to no cell service at the cottage, making it the perfect place to unplug, but the wifi is strong should you need to catch up on work during your stay. The cottage has one bedroom and a loft, both with queen sized beds. The loft also has a Kiddie Couch that can sleep up to two kids. With skylights and lots of windows, the cottage is a beautiful, bright space, designed to help you wake up with sun and enjoy the stars on clear nights. Two covered patios and the cedar hot tub allow you to enjoy the outdoors year-round.

Beautifully designed space, loved the high ceilings and open concept. Cozy and comfortable, especially with the heated flooring. Kitchen fully equipped, loved the covered patio to use rain or shine. Peaceful and private, outdoor hot tub and forest views in the shower was ideal to unwind! Hosts kindly provided pack and play, baby gate and high chair which made travelling with a baby and toddler very convenient! Space was very clean, especially with our crawler baby. Loved all the skylights and natural lighting. 15min drive to local spots. Easy check in/check out process, hosts were very responsive and kindly provided delicious breakfast goodies for our stay. Small details that made the stay really seamless - extra towels and linen, beach towels, extra cleaning supplies, filtered water tap. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again! Had a lovely stay with our little family of 4!

The photos don’t do it justice, this place is stunning! The most amazing setting for a girls weekend and we had everything we needed and more. Comfy, cozy, and quaint, the cabin is a private haven in the trees. The cedar hot tub, forest view shower, and homemade treats were our highlights. Tesja’s incredible hospitality left us wanting to stay forever. We look forward to returning in the future!
We stayed two nights at Tesja’s gorgeous cottage and wished we could have stayed longer. The space has a very pleasant and light feeling and the design and finishing of the space are fabulous. Not to mention the fresh products for breakfast. Highly recommended!

The cottage is located in a quiet area on the north end of Salt Spring Island. There is access to some short hiking trails seconds away from the property and we are a short distance from North End Farm Market where you will find produce, meat, eggs, flowers and baked goods.
We recommend traveling with a vehicle, but biking around the island is also possible.
