We had a wonderful time in Margaret’s beautiful converted cottage. From the time we arrived to be greeted by Margaret and ushered into a lovely heated home, we were pleasantly impressed. There were vases of fresh flowers, eggs, bread, cereal and the usual basics, plus biscuits. She had even put on the electric blankets for us. The space was comfortable and supplied everything you might need. She had listed lots of local eateries and things to do. There was little left for us, but to enjoy all the area had to offer.

A lovely, homely cottage, we felt right at home. Margaret was a great host. We were coming late in the evening and she met us around 7.30pm to welcome us and make sure we got in safe. Margaret had supplied, fruit, bread, cereals, milk, condiments and even home make cookies. We had fresh flowers in each bedroom. The beds we very comfortable and she had turned our Electric blankets on. The fire was stacked ready to go. She even sent us a list of restaurants. We would definitely stay there again.

Margaret personally greeted us on our arrival, a rare personal touch. Other elements such as the fresh flowers, cereal, eggs and home baked cookies was most welcome. The cottage in Strahan was located a close walking distance to an IGA and the Gordon River Cruise and The Ship That Never Was show. The fireplace being prepared and the heating being turned on was most appreciated as well, Margaret certainly puts a lot of effort in welcolming her guests. We had a fantastic two night stay in Strahan.

Margaret greeted us on arrival and showed us through the well equipped house. There were lovely homey touches like beautiful fresh flowers and delicious home made biscuits. Our 2 night stay was very comfortable and the fireplace was a wonderful addition for the cool evenings.

Margaret's place is ideal for a stay in Strahan. The supermarket around the corner was handy, and it was great to be able to stroll to the centre of town at the waterfront. The cottage was clean and cozy. The laundry was very useful too. Margaret responded to all enquiries quickly and she was very helpful. We appreciated the extras in the fridge - lovely! Thanks Margaret!
