Overall the place is destined to be great. The decor is cute and rooms are nice. The rooms and bathrooms were a good size and the space in between was great for sharing a home with multiple families with young kids. No outlets were covered so families with young kids should plan for this. They had wonderful intent of it being a nice stay but somethings just didn’t make sense. There were so many cob webs all over the patios. It seemed a spider treatment would work but through communication with the company it appears “they take reviews and concerns very seriously” and “never ignore a complaint”. I’m unsure if they did or not, but it appears in a recent review they also complained of the webs. It was really annoying to have to clean them all out and spiders still returned regularly. They were “mostly” outside but I feel if you’re going to advertise a nice patio to sit on, it shouldn’t be like that. Make sure to bring beach towels, kitchen towels, paper towels, toilet paper etc. They provide resort shampoo/body wash in the showers but only one roll of tp per bathroom. One papertowel, no laundry soap etc. One towel/wash cloth is provided per week for the guests. No dish soap was provided. The floor was dirty and left even our socks brown on the bottoms. Fridge has ice machine and water access but sprays a bit. It did the job. Food lion is close by and Instacart can deliver. Pool has chair service for food and drinks, slushy bar for kids. Food is served till 3:30 (outside and inside) and then again starting at 5pm (inside only). You need to get welcome packet that is strictly about the resort itself (not the house) at the sports complex (comes up on Google maps). They had activities for the kids throughout the week (but this is run by the resort, not the air b n b host company).

When we arrived 3 of the beds weren’t made and it was very noticeable that the house has not been fully cleaned. Floors were still dirty, counters hadn’t been wiped and carpets were definitely not vacuumed. However, when I called the company they did send someone out to finish cleaning (it took about an hour for them to arrive—apparently they had been cleaning another house 40 minutes away). At this location you are staying at a resort and have access to so many great amenities! However, there wasn’t clear communication on how to access anything. Apparently wristbands were needed to access everything but that was never said anything. When I called again to ask about that they told me I had to go to the sports plex to pick up a package. Most families stay from Saturday-Saturday but we started Wednesday-Wednesday. And apparently the wristbands change colors each week—which again no one told us about nor did we get another color. The resort staff was gracious enough and said it was okay this time. But again…I wish it would’ve been communicated to us. In this area, there are A LOT and I mean A LOTT of spiders. I get that it’s the area but I wish the outside areas would’ve been sprayed or treated. We were not able to enjoy the outdoor patios because of the insane amount of spiders and spider webs. The dining room furniture was nice but the chairs were very loose. Some of them felt like they were going to fall apart. Despite the lack of communication and the initial cleanliness of the house, we did have a good stay. The house itself was nice and the location and amenities were awesome.

Our second time staying in this community for a reason! If you have an active family there are so many amenities that come with this stay. We utilized the basketball courts and both outdoor pools but there is so much more to do at the sports center and near the main outdoor pool. That pool is gorgeous btw, it’s actually 2 huge pools overlooking the shore with access to Oceanfront Grille for amazing drinks and food while you watch the kiddos swim. Make reservations if you want to eat dinner there. The beach access point there has a life guard station which I like to be near especially when the surf is rough. Trolly runs every 20-30 min. Also a nice little shopping center right next door with restaurants, desserts, a souvenir shop and even mini golf! The town house we stayed in was spacious and nicely decorated, but I would suggest bringing garbage bags, your own toiletries, beach towels and extra toilet paper if you’re staying with a crowd (there was us, 4 teenagers & 1 kid) . Would stay here again and again!

The house was great, it was very clean and spacious. The location is also very convenient and just a few minutes by car or trolley ride to grocery stores, shopping, beach, pool, and restaurants. The owner was very communicative and helpful. We would definitely recommend this home for families and we hope to return again in the future.
