The deck has valley views highlighted by an ocean panorama and Byron Bay with its famous lighthouse in the distance. Sunrises and full moons can be observed from the hammock. PLEASE READ ALL OF OUR DESCRIPTION BEFORE MAKING A BOOKING. We are no longer issuing refunds for guests who book, arrive and don't stay. The accommodation has two bedrooms, kitchen with dishwasher, bathroom, laundry, tv including foxtel, wifi and an outdoor seating area that takes full advantage of the view. The main bedroom has a queen bed and the second has two single beds that can be joined together to make one king size bed if accommodating two couples. Let us know if you'd like the second bedroom to be made up as a wide double bed. The apartment is joined to another apartment but is screened off and private with its own entrance. The house is forty years old and not renovated so not luxury and modern but is comfortable and cosy. We prefer not to renovate for the environment and to keep the rates affordable so if modern style is what you're after our place won't suit. Please don't book a stay if you're seeking modern, sterilised accommodation. We're committed to organic principles and don't use insecticides anywhere on the property. A vegan continental breakfast is provided with local coffee and bananas from the farm. Our farm is for nature lovers who aren't afraid of spiders and insects! Please don't book a stay if you're afraid of harmless spiders which are everywhere. They're beautiful and will not harm you and will sometimes build a web inside the house. We're on the edge of dense rainforest and you'll sometimes be sharing your accommodation with all kinds of visitors from the natural world, including harmless snakes! Also, the road in is unsealed and a bit rough so if slightly potholed roads and driveways are of concern or if you have a low to the ground vehicle it might be best to consider carefully if our Airbnb is the most suitable. Everyone is welcome of course but our Airbnb best suits hippies, artists, nature lovers, naturists, naturalists, vegans, freedom seekers, peace warriors, lovers of life, alternative lifestylers etc or anyone who vibes with a more natural way than a city or suburban lifestyle. We're not for everyone and have received enough negative feedback from guests best suited to sterilised resort type accommodation. If we get any more we'll close our Airbnb and the spiders can move in full time. That would be ok with us but the many guests who love our Airbnb will miss out. Please consider if you'll be ok staying in our accommodation before booking. Rates start at $160 per night for off season but varies according to demand. The per person rate is less than half you'll pay in a local hostel dorm so although our Airbnb might not be perfect, it's great value. Don't be shy to make an offer for multi day, one or two guest stays and look out for last minute standby deals.
