The apartment is located at the beginning of Alfama, and by staying at the border it is very easy to access all types of transport in 3 minutes.
The same way it is also easy to find a typical restaurant and listen to fado just around the corner, once we are close to the animation, but we are also very close to the river Tagus, being possible to have a beautiful brunch by the river, or dinner in one of the best restaurants in lisbon with the river next door.
This neighborhood is full of historic places to visit, monuments and in the heart of Lisbon history (igreja de São Vicente de Fora, castelo de São Jorge)
There is near the Lisbon fly market (feira da ladra) every Saturday and Tuesday. It evolves around National Pantenon and Sta Clara Marquet.
In Sta Clara marquet there is a garden with a playground to kids and a beautifull view, also.

The apartment is three minutes from Sta Apolónia Station (metro, bus, train, taxis). Here you can get transport to everywere in Lisbon and train to other portuguese cities.
You can park around the apartment but if you prefer an easier place you also have payed parking near the river in Sta Apolónia(3 minutes).
You can go walking to the center (downtown) in 10 minutes, 3 minutes to Alfama center, Castle, Panteão (1 minute) and Graça.
